Wilayah is a centre that provides educational and learning services to the community. Although it is a registered business in Singapore, we aim to run the centre as a non-profit and non-commercial entity.
As such we welcome any contributions from any person(s) or organisation(s) by any means. Currently Wilayah does not have a permanent location to have our courses in-house, but we are renting classrooms from various centres and organisations.
We accept donations in cash or cheque in person. Currently, we are not an authorised centre for Zakat collection, but we do, in cases, accept Zakat contribution from those willing. This also entails that we do not issue any official Zakat receipt to enjoy a mandatory tax exemption.
All contributions shall be channelled to the programmes and courses at WilayahLC, including their administration.
There is a commercial activity of Wilayah in the form of publications and publishings. The income generated from the sales of the products, under proprietory brand imprints of WilayahLC, shall be generated into the learning fund of the centre. Wilayah also has created a management company, SHAKUR HADI, to manage the running of the brands, which are yet distinct business entities.
It is our hope that such activities and the contributions of the community shall contribute to the success of WilayahLC, and that it shall grow to become a fully non-profit educational institution based on traditional Islamic principles and methods.
